How much we charge

Our rates are charged as a daily rate, including the days of drop off and pick up. This means the minimum length of overnight stay is two days.

All rates quoted below are inclusive of GST.

Standard daily rates

  • One dog = $30 per day

  • Two dogs = $27 per dog per day.

Extended stay (21 days or longer in one continuous booking)

  • One dog = $28 per day
  • Two dogs =$25 per dog per day.

PENSIONER DAILY RATES

  • We provide a 10% discount on our standard rates for Australian Government and Veterans Affairs Pensioner Concession Card holders.

Payment

  • All payments must be made directly to Dogs Holiday Havens, not the Minder.
  • We issue invoices for payment. We accept bank transfers/direct deposits and cheques (and cash if pre-arranged).
  • Payment plans can be arranged.
  • If payment is not received by the dates specified on the invoice, Dogs Holiday Havens reserves the right to cancel the booking and reallocate the minder to other bookings.
  • We require a deposit of 50% of the total fee to confirm a booking.
  • Other than for Christmas/New Year bookings, full payment is due 7 days before the start of your booking. Bookings made less than 7 days in advance require full payment within 24 hours of meeting the minder or 2 days before the start of the booking (whichever is sooner).

Cancellations and Credits

Other than for the Christmas/New Year period, if a booking is cancelled:

  • 14 days or more before the booking commences, we will credit the full amount paid less 50% of the deposit
  • 3 to 13 days before the booking commences, we will credit the full amount paid less the deposit
  • 2 days or less before the booking commences, we will credit 50% of the amount paid less the deposit (note, when a confirmed booking is cancelled 2 days or less before it was due to start, Dogs Holiday Havens is morally obliged to pay the minder as if the booking had proceeded
  • during the booking (for example, if you want to collect your dog early), no credit is issued.

Credit Conditions

All credits will be held for a maximum period of 12 months from the start date of the cancelled booking. Credits older than 12 months will be forfeited.
